
- Each site handled via single server;
- SGSN does DNS lookup for each session create;
- DNS round-robins between the available IP addresses for each APN, providing multiple address (round-robining the order);
- The DNS may have just 2 addresses, or potentially could have more configured;
- If more are configured, multiple nodes would need to be configured to insure a single route between peers;
- Failures are handled by the SGSN detecting a path failure, and using an alternate address (due to multiple addresses being provided).
