Our price points allow you to purchase only the capacity required to service your network while also allowing you to add more capacity as you grow. Likewise, you can choose which technologies to support – start with 4G and add 5G when you’re ready to evolve or start with full 3G/4G/5G support.

ConveneHSS supports 3G, 4G, and 5G core networks

As mobile packet core networks have evolved, the information retained or associated with mobile subscribers has not only increased but has become critical to fulfilling subscribed features as well as constraining subscribers to subscribed bandwidth. In a EUTRAN network, the Home Location Register (HLR) provides authentication materials and subscriber location information. In the Evolved Packet Core (EPC), the Home Subscriber Server (HSS) performs subscriber authentication and authorization and provides a central repository of subscriber data that supports call processing through the network. In the 5G Core (5GC) network, the Unified Data Management (UDM) network function provides authentication and subscription information to the network functions that control network access and establish subscriber sessions as well as managing dynamic information regarding the subscriber’s current session and providing that information to service consumers on request.

ConveneHSS provides the functionality of an HLR and an HSS along with the analogous functionality of a UDM and an Authentication Server Function (AUSF) in one network element. This gives you seamless subscriber and subscription management for 3G, 4G and 5G networks, supporting your network’s evolution and your subscribers – no matter where they may roam.

ConveneHSS is purpose-built for virtualization, assisting carriers with their goal of Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and provides a feature deployment environment for Software Defined Networks (SDN).  It is a Virtual Machine (VM)-ready software product designed such that it leverages multi-core COTS hardware with a highly threaded software implementation, and provides performance improvements by increasing resources on standard Linux platforms.
